Determining your daily numbers is a breeze, requiring only a sheet of paper and a pencil. (Or use our calculator)
On any given day, we calculate three distinct numbers: the personal day, month, and year. This method is condensed into a shorthand format like 3D-4M-6Y, representing a 3 day in a 4 month in a 6 year.
To illustrate, let's use a DOB (date of birth) of 14th March 1992 and aim to find the personal numbers for 5th April 2024.
Join me in this detailed guide with the provided sample numbers, then try it out with your own date of birth and desired day for number calculation.
1. Preparation
Write out the dates
DOB (date of birth): 14.03.1992
CALD (Calendar date): 05.04.2024
Understand the calculation - reducing to single digit
The calculation always follows the same pattern: a specific set of numbers derived from a particular date (be it birth or calendar) is used to arrive at a single digit by adding the individual numbers, digits, up.
It is important to always reduce all digits by adding them until you end up with a single digit, number. This will be any number from 1 to 9.
For example, the numbers 32409 reduced would be:
3+2+4+0+9 =19 -> 1+9 = 10 -> 1+0 = 1
2. Calculating your PERSONAL YEAR
Needed:
- the month of DOB,
- day of DOB and
- CALD year
In the example we thus have the following numbers:
3 (month DOB) + 14 (day DOB) + 2024 (year CALD)
3+14+2024 = 2041
We now take each individual digit and add them up until you reach a single digit:
2041 = 2+0+4+1 = 7
You can also simply take all the digits and add them up like so:
3+1+4+2+0+2+4 = 16 -> 1+6 = 7
And yet another way would be to reduce the month, day and year numbers on their own and then add them and reduce again if necessary.
3 = 3
14 = 1+4 = 5
2024 = 2+0+2+4 = 8
3+5+8 = 16 -> 1+6 = 7
In our example the person is having a 7 year - we get to the meaning of this in a moment. Let's first calculate all numbers.
3. Calculating your PERSONAL MONTH
Needed:
- personal year number we just calculated,
- month of CALD
In our example we have 7 as a personal year number, adding 4 as the month of the calendar date -> 7 + 4 = 11 -> 1+1 = 2
The person is having a 2 month in a 7 year.
4. Calculating your PERSONAL DAY
Needed:
- personal month number just calculated,
- day of CALD
In the example we add a 2 month to the CALD day of 5:
2 + 5 = 7
The person thus is having a 7 day in a 2 month in a 7 year, we write this out in our calendar subscription as 7D-2M-7Y for easy reference.

What the numbers mean
Interpreting the vibrations and energies of these numbers is the art of numerology. Every number from 1 to 9 has it's specific energies. Skillful numerologists know through their experience how these numbers work together and what it means for an individual person.
However, just by knowing these numbers we can get their basic meaning and guidance for the day. Let's take the example we just calculated. In the personal calendar we set up for all our customers this entry would be accompanied by the following short description:
"Today is a 7-DAY: rest and reevaluate, time for quiet solitude
Take time for rest and reevaluation, embracing quiet solitude to focus, study, research, and meditate.
2-MONTH: cooperate, be patient
7-YEAR: contemplation"
As you can see this gives you an idea of what the energies are and how you could set the tone for your day. In this case the 7s (day and year) give you a strong hint to take it easy, even more so the 2 month which reminds you to be patient. You could thus decide to take the day off if at all possible or if that is not feasible find other ways to not stress too much on this day. And it would be particularly good to find a quiet moment in the busy day to reflect on how you could find more patience in your life in general.
Any time you find yourself contemplating your life you are in self-reflection mode which is extremely helpful on your journey to more happiness and fulfillment.
Working with the numbers in this way helps you to find out more about yourself, who you are, what your likes and dislikes are and is thus a powerful tool for your own personal development.
